Planning ahead for your funeral is one of the most thoughtful and caring things you can do. Some people never get round to discussing funeral wishes with their loved ones, which can lead to all sorts of worry and anxiety when the time comes.

Taking out a funeral plan is a simple and straightforward way to remove this worry, and it can provide real financial benefits too. Some of the other benefits include:

Our funeral plan is available to UK residents and there are no complicated medical forms to complete. You can also appoint a nominated representative who we will keep informed about your plan, according to your instructions.

Our plans cover our costs (as specified in the plan paperwork) as long as we carry out the funeral and your requirements don’t change. You can also make a contribution towards third party costs, such as the cremation fees. These costs are outside of our control.

A pre-paid funeral plan allows you to arrange and pay for your funeral in advance. It ensures your wishes are honoured and helps ease the emotional and financial burden on your loved ones when the time comes.

Planning ahead gives you peace of mind and allows you to personalise your service. It also protects your family from unexpected costs and difficult decisions during a distressing time.

Our plans typically include all the services provided by us, as your chosen funeral director. This may cover professional fees, care of the deceased, a coffin, transport, and the funeral service itself. You can also make a contribution towards third-party costs such as cremation or burial fees.

Yes, you can pay in a single lump sum or spread the cost over manageable instalments. There may be an additional charge for instalment plans exceeding two years. We’re happy to provide a tailored quote.

Absolutely. You can specify music, readings, floral preferences, and any special wishes. These details are recorded and followed exactly, ensuring your funeral reflects your life and values.

If you move to a different area, we can usually transfer your plan to another approved funeral director. If you change your mind, cancellation options are available – terms and conditions apply.

Yes. All pre-paid funds are securely held in a whole-of-life assurance policy, arranged through Ecclesiastical Planning Services, ensuring your money is protected and used only for your funeral.

They’re a trusted, UK-based provider of funeral plans, regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. They work with reputable, local funeral directors like Evergreen to deliver peace of mind.

Yes. You can nominate a representative to be kept informed and involved in your plan. We’ll only contact them as per your instructions.

I highly recommend evergreen funeral services, the love & care they have shown myself & my late partner was more than I ever expected, my partner parents didnt want him to have a traditional funeral but evergreen new how important it was for me to see it through till the very end like I promised my late partner, they arranged for me to be able to go to the crematorium on the day of my partner’s cremation & allowed me to spend some time in the chapel with him so I could say my last goodbyes, I cannot thank steve, mike & gary enough for all they have done for myself & my late partner Barry, they didn’t just care for Barry they also cared for me, from the bottom of my heart thank you so much for the love, dignity & respect you have shown us both xx

I have just lost my Son and had no idea how to sort out the funeral arrangements.I was given the name of a funeral company called Evergreen in Hull I live in Surrey my Son lived in Grimsby. The gentlemans name was Stephen what a very pleasant person he put our minds at rest by telling us what was going to happen. He has kepted us informed with the information. My Son was cremated on the 9th July Stephen even called us afterwards to let us know that everything went ok. So if you are looking for a funeral company up in Hull I recommend that you get in touch with Evergreens the price was very reasonable.

There are not the words to express the kindness and compassion showed by the incredible staff at Evergreen. Steve Gary and Mike. I cannot thank Steve, Gary & Mike enough for the care, compassion, and support they gave my dad and our family during such a difficult time. From start to finish, they treated my dad with so much dignity, respect, and pride, which meant more to us than words can say.
Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and they truly went above and beyond in every way. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care brought us so much comfort, and over time they came to feel more like family than anything else.
They made an incredibly hard time that little bit easier to get through, and we will always be grateful for everything they did for my dad and for all of us. The flowers were also absolutely gorgeous and such a thoughtful touch, and the VW campervan was absolutely immaculate a perfect send-off.
