At Evergreen Funeral Services we are here to offer you open and honest advice and support whether you are planning a funeral in advance for yourself or for a loved one who has already passed.
Some families choose to detail bespoke funeral wishes in advance, meaning their family have a written copy of their wishes to help ease the worry and stress at a very difficult time. Again, every family/individual is different, some prefer a very simple service and others something a little more lavish. What’s important to us, is respecting the wishes written, that’s why we will never pressurise you or try and upsell you something you neither want nor need.
A Pre-Paid Funeral Plan can run hand in hand with written funeral wishes, meaning you can set the money aside for your funeral in advance. As a team we are happy to support you through this…openly and honestly. We provide ‘at need’ funeral plans; you are only paying for what you need.
This means:
- Following your lead to establish the kind of service you want.
- Never pressurising you or trying to upsell any element of a funeral plan.
- Explaining exactly what you are paying for.
Your plan can be as simple or as detailed as you would like. We have plans taken out which simply cover the specified funeral director fees, which are covered as long as we carry out your funeral and your wishes don’t change. Others include a contribution to third parties fees which are outside of our control.
These can include:
- Floral tributes
- Newspaper notices
- Limousines on the day of the service
…and many more.

Part of the wider Ecclesiastical Group, which has been established for over 130 years, Ecclesiastical Planning Services is a fully registered provider of the Funeral Planning Authority. Importantly, the total cost of your plan is held in a ‘whole of life’ assurance policy; this means your money is ring fenced for your funeral when you need it.
